TOTTENHAM CLOSE TO FINALIZING VUSKOVIC LOAN AS BISSOUMA NEARS EXIT

1 min read

Tottenham Hotspur are advancing toward a season-long loan agreement for defender Luka Vuskovic with German club Hamburg, with negotiations expected to conclude before Monday’s transfer deadline. The arrangement is understood to be a straightforward loan without purchase options.

Meanwhile, the North London club are working to facilitate Yves Bissouma’s departure to Turkish side Galatasaray. The midfielder has fallen out of favor under manager Thomas Frank, with disciplinary concerns regarding punctuality contributing to his diminished role. Bissouma, whose contract expires next summer, has been absent from recent matchday squads.

Vuskovic, who joined Tottenham this summer following an agreement reached last September, made an immediate impression during preseason with a goal contribution against Reading. However, the 18-year-old Croatian has found playing opportunities limited behind established central defenders in the squad.

Elsewhere in London, Fulham are intensifying efforts to strengthen their attacking options with moves for two significant targets. The Cottagers are pursuing separate deals for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin and Milan forward Samuel Chukwueze, with the combined value potentially approaching £60 million.

Fulham have reengaged with Shakhtar after having an initial bid rejected for the Brazilian winger, while negotiations with Milan for the Nigerian international are reported to be at an advanced stage. The club has also expressed interest in Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, though face competition from Crystal Palace for the winger’s signature.

In other transfer developments, Crystal Palace have agreed terms with Villarreal for Spanish forward Yeremy Pino, while Arsenal continue to monitor Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapié as a potential defensive reinforcement.
