ROYAL’S TROUBLING MESSAGES TO FINANCIER REVEALED FOLLOWING PHOTO RELEASE

1 min read

Newly disclosed correspondence shows a senior royal communicated with Jeffrey Epstein the day after a photograph emerged linking them. The message, sent in February 2011, contained the phrase, “It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it,” and concluded with a suggestion of future interaction.

The email, which was signed with the sender’s formal title and honorific, also included a note stating, “Don’t worry about me!” and expressed an intention to “play some more soon” once public attention subsided.

The photograph that prompted this exchange depicted the royal with his arm around a then-teenage Virginia Giuffre, with Ghislaine Maxwell also visible in the background. Years later, in 2021, Giuffre initiated legal proceedings, alleging she was trafficked to the royal figure while underage.

Prior to her death earlier this year, Giuffre’s personal writings described detailed encounters, including assertions that the royal showed particular interest in her feet and lavished her with compliments about her “blossoming figure.” She documented feeling pressure to comply with his requests out of fear of disappointing powerful figures.

Despite maintaining his denial of any wrongdoing, the case was resolved through an out-of-court settlement in 2022, which included a financial payment to Giuffre. The released correspondence adds another layer to the established timeline of their association.
