The staffer, who previously served the monarchy, stated that the Duke of Sussex could display a petulant nature and was raised in an environment detached from ordinary life.
The staffer expressed regret that the prince appears to have abandoned the principle of public service, which he was taught from a young age, in favor of a celebrity-focused existence in Hollywood. This observation was echoed by another former royal employee, who recalled a time when the prince was closely integrated with his brother and sister-in-law, frequently joining them for social outings and other activities.
Since relocating to California, reports suggest the prince has experienced significant isolation. Sources indicate his social circle is limited, with few genuine friends nearby. Much of his time is reportedly spent in the company of his security team. While he maintains friendships in the United Kingdom, the geographical distance and time zone differences make regular communication difficult.
